Thousand Islands SDA Installs Stairs on Embankment of Pramuka Island

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency installed stairs on sea embankment located on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

The stairs can make it easier for residents and tourists to access the beach on Pramuka Island

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said, stairs would make it easier for his side to control and carry out maintenance on the embankment.

"Besides, the stairs can make it easier for residents and tourists to access the beach on Pramuka Island," he conveyed, Tuesday (8/10).

Lancang Island Barrier Embankment Strengthened to Anticipate Abrasion

For building the stairs, his side used cast cubes and installed it in 6 points with width 1.5-2 meters each. The height would be adjusted to embankment's construction.

"We deploy 11 personnel for stairs installation starting from August 9 until end of this month," he mentioned.
